Jim founded Spyglass Capital Management in 2015. Prior to founding Spyglass, Jim spent nearly 11 years at Edgewood Management LLC, first as a Senior Research Analyst and then as a Managing Director and member of the Portfolio Management Team for the Edgewood Growth Fund. Prior to Jim’s time at Edgewood, he held positions at Baron Capital Management and Van Wagoner Capital Management. Jim graduated from Vanderbilt University, and he received his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Accounting.
